The last few weeks have been pretty busy for us. Randy got home from tour the first of April and went straight into GMA (Gospel Music Awards) week. The band had to do meet and greets with media and industry folk all week. It was a neat and exciting experience for the guys. They got a lot of great feedback from artists they have admired and looked up to for soo long - so that is really encouraging!! They had a live showcase downtown on Tuesday night which turned out great!! They did an incredible job. And we got to attend the Provident's after Dove Awards party. It was very cool to be able to hang out and talk to artists we've listened and looked up to (Third Day, Jars, Casting Crowns, etc).
We've also had some pretty big storms here the past few weeks. TN got hit pretty bad with several severe storms and tornado damage. Luckily we were only effected by hail stroms that tore holes in the back of our siding. The holes will need fixed, but it doesn't cause us any real problems, so we feel blessed. Check out the picture below of the largest hail stone Randy found in our backyard! I didn't know these things could get soo big!!
That's about it for now! Hope you all are doing well. The weather is getting warmer and Spring is in the air!! Now that we've turned the clocks forward, I am ready for summer!!
