Memorial Day Weekend Fun!

Asher and mommy flew home to PA for Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful time visiting with family and friends. The weather was great and we spent lots of time outside enjoying the fresh air.


Our first stop was at Nonni and Grandpa Armstrong's. Asher LOVED being outside and had a blast playing with the kitties. He got a kick out of pulling their tails and would just giggle and giggle everytime the kitty would meow!



Next it was on to Grandma Nene and Papa Bud's house for the weekend. They were very excited to see Asher since the last time we visited he was only 3 months old! They were thrilled to see him crawling every where! We also got to spend some time visiting with Asher's cousins Brooke and Dane and Uncle Jeff and Aunt Kim!





Asher even got his very first four-wheeler ride! Papa Bud took Mommy and Asher on a short ride around the yard. Asher seemed to just take it all in.


Asher's buddy Kaiden also stopped by to say hello. They are both just getting so big!



Our newest discovery is standing up! Asher tries to pull himself up and stand any chance he gets....in the bathtub...


....at the window....

....helping mommy with the cooking...

....and in the bathroom trying to figure out where exactly the water went that was in his bath.

An overdue update

Asher is now crawling all over the apartment and pulling himself up with anything that is at eye level. He has become quite the little mobile guy, so mommy and daddy thought it would be fun to take him to the park for the evening and let him enjoy the big playground, and use up some of that energy that he never seems to lack =)




Peek-a-boo...Asher wasn't sure what to think of being inside the tube slide!

Asher seems to enjoy being barefoot and loves to walk around with the help of daddy

He really liked the slide and even more so when he got to do it all by himself (of course with daddy holding onto him the entire way down)

Here Grandpa Armstrong decided to give Asher an adorable hairstyle during his bath while they were down visiting for a week

Asher has also learned how to hold onto his bottle while drinking...although, most often he'd rather just sit back and let you do the holding -ha!

Some other exciting happenings this past month was the band winning their very first Dove Award for Rock Recorded Song of the Year. We are extremely proud of the guys and they are very honored to have received an award alongside other bands they've looked up to for so long.




Also we were apart of Anthony and Stephanie's wedding on April 28th. It was a beautiful wedding and we are very excited for the two of them.
