Asher sure is getting big! He loves to try and stand on his own and smiles when he thinks he really is. He'd much rather be on his feet than lying on his belly. We might just have a walker before a crawler! Asher is fitting into his 6-9 month clothes already and weighs about 15 lbs. He really had a growth spurt this last month. He LOVES eating his rice cereal now too! Mommy has fed him some the last 4 nights and Asher just chows it down. He even tries grabbing at the spoon to help out...at least he thinks he is helping!
Asher really enjoys spending time with his babysitters, Najee and Werner, too. Mommy drops him off in the mornings before work and he spends all afternoon with them. Najee and Werner are musicians as well, and say he loves to try and sing along with them. Werner says Asher is really interested in his console where he produces, and often falls asleep in his lap while he is working on his music. We might have another musician in the family! We feel very blessed to have Najee and Werner around to take care of our little bundle when we are away.
Asher is definitely becoming his own little man and it's fascinating to watch his personality evolve each day and each month. What an amazing miracle!
